Heavy-Duty Series

Timken’s heavy-duty housed units feature our heaviest series bearing with a choice of seals. To protect against severe contamination and provide better lubrication retention, the rubber-membrane seal is thicker than our other seals. For higher temperature applications, a labyrinth style seal can be provided.

Design Attributes

• Ideal for loads that are heavy in proportion to the shaft diameter or where shock loads exist.
• Provides super-finished raceways with grade 10 balls.
• Eccentric locking collar locks to shaft.
• Environmentally safe powder coating protects housing.
